Trying Something New: The Start of my Healthy Living Blog

Growing up, I was always a picky eater. And not a "peanut-butter-and-jelly-sandwich-everyday" kind of picky eater either; I didn't like peanut butter, jelly, or un-toasted bread (yes, I know, my poor mother). As I got older, I incorporated more foods into my daily diet, but I still was far from living a healthy lifestyle. I cannot pinpoint exactly when I started to care about my eating and exercising habits, but sometimes I feel as if it was an overnight discovery. To be honest, I don't know that it matters either. But what does matter is that since that moment, it's been a great journey and I have come far in my wellness endeavours.

I love learning about the corruption in the food industry, new recipes, exercising tips, products, how to read food labels, and companies striving to change it all. As someone who deals with anxiety, I have found regular exercise and healthy eating a great way to reduce panic attacks and lower overall stress. When I care about what I put in my body and work to live a healthy lifestyle, I am a happier person. So, I would like to share this knowledge that I have gained, and found important in my personal life, with you.

I believe highly in moderation and I believe eating healthy can be enjoyable, easier than you think, and definitely delicious. I hope you are able to learn something through my posts and I can help others with their own personal journeys! So here I go...
